Since 1996, Bend Up Metal, originally known as Diversified Products, has been a trusted name in metal fabrication, proudly family-owned and operated in the heart of Central Oregon by Loren and Christen Eby. Situated in Bend, OR, our 11,000 square foot facility is where we bring our commitment to excellence to life.
With a focus on meeting the specific needs of our clients, Bend Up Metal utilizes cutting-edge technology like computer-aided design and computer-operated equipment to manufacture a diverse range of products across various industries.
Our full-service metal fabrication shop offers precision laser cutting, press brake forming, rolling, welding, and fabrication for residential, commercial, and architectural projects. We understand the importance of meeting tight deadlines and strive to do so for our valued customers, who span a wide array of industries.

Meet The New Owner
Loren Eby
I have spent the last 30 years as a mechanical and mfg. engineer building factories, improving processes, and designing objects for others. It’s my turn to do it for myself. In 2022, my wife Christen and I purchased Diversified Products which had been serving the local community for 28 years. I was ready to take the reigns and make it my own.
Now, BendUp Metal is ready to serve manufacturers and the community in a greater capacity. As I modernize our operations and bring engineering & CAD design services in house, I am building a company that serves as the manufacturer or an extension of your operations. I want to support my clients growth by giving them access to my shop and talented craftsmen.
I am a creative type that enjoys and respects the work produced from talented tradespeople and artists that work with their hands. I’m also a problem solver that enjoys providing solutions.
Much of my career has been spent walking factory floors with cutting fluids and metal chips imbedded in my shoes. I’ve come to enjoy the equipment, tools, and sounds of industry. I’ve had the privilege of working in diverse industries that include:
